Upcoming employees should understand what "work" means. Supervisors expect people to be at work at his/her scheduled time. Work his/ her full shift and work hard continuously. They should understand their role in the organization and be especially curious about the other roles that they would come in contact with.

The employee also has the responsibility to manage their supervisor. The employee should review his/ her expectations after the first week, first month, second month and third month. During the expectation meeting, they should understand what their strengths and weaknesses are. This also gives the person time to correct anything they are not doing well.
